Americaunas are a type of Easter Egger. Easter Eggers aren't really a breed... more a classification or description of chickens that lay multicolored eggs. She looks like an Americauna to me if that helps

Ameraucana: Has breed standard, breed true, always have muffs, beards, pea combs, have defined colors
Easter egger: mutt, usually ameraucana mixed with something. Comes in all sorts of colors, usually has pea comb, sometimes has muffs or beard.

She is an EE, EE’s are not a breed they are a mixed chicken that could lay green, blue, tinted, or rarely brown eggs. Americauna is not a breed, Ameraucauna is the correct name but your chicken is an EE.

Not exactly... Breeds that lay blue eggs (such as Ameraucanas or Legbars) are not easter eggers, they are blue egg layers. Easter egger is a common term for hybrids that lay colored eggs. Pure bred chickens that lay colored eggs should not be called easter eggers.

Easter eggers are mixes. They usually have pea combs, muffs and or beards, and come in any color. They also usually lay green or blue eggs. "Americauna' is another word for easter egger. AMERAUCANAS are usually one of the birds used to create an EE.

EEs aren't a breed they are mutts. Ameraucana's are breeds they are not EEs but hatcheries willl often label EEs as ameraucanas or other incorrectly spelled versions.

Green legs, so easter egger.

Ameraucanas (the breed) have slate legs no green tint. Americanas are just a fake mis-spelled name people use to get you mixed up with the real breed and are just easter eggers.
