I also tuck my birds in at night! I do not cuddle my hens very often, although I do cuddle pullets and chicks!
Sort of. He flogged me once. But thats pretty good overall. He flogged me once and pecked my shoes 2-3 times. I do not believe in holding roosters upside down or scaring them. If I have to, I bring a shovel with me whenever I go into the chicken pen. I do not touch him with it, its basically for shielding purposes.
