Oh my.. I’ve a lot to learn here. Well, I guess my attitude towards them is drastically changed now. No more perching on me, eating treats. In the world of chickens, 'friendly' cockerels are the ones who are BOLD and UNAFRAID. That's not actually friendliness! Many such boys mature into unafraid attack birds, so do be careful. Many of us 'old fogies' who have had chickens for decades, raise our cockerels to respect our space, rather than trying to make pets of them. Handle andhand feed your pullets, if you like, but keep those boys respectful.
