I have the same problem here. I have my seeds packaged and ready to go. I order a big variety for my garden but only use about half of the seeds. I am sending an assortment in packs also. Everything is mark though - no surprises so don't worry. I also make rosaries and have very small plastic baggies that work great for seeds.

This is my first swap and and was hoping that was OK and really glad to see I wasn't the only one doing this.

when i send mine i usually put in what it costs to ship it plus a $1-2 extra if i send cash or extra stamps just incase if i have time to do stamps. i'm not sure what the price of bubble mailers is now been awhile since i have sent one. usually if it is to much over we send back the change or the extra stamps. if it is not over by much say like 2 stamps we put one on and add more freebies to ur bubble envies before we ship back so it balances out to as close to even as possible.

when u send them don't send a bubble envie inside another bubble envie it costs to much to do that way. i just reuse the same bubble envie u ship ur stuff in and put ur label on outside to ship back and retape it shut so it keeps shipping cost down. for the postage u can send cash or stamps either is fine. my mail ladies r patient and good with helping me with them when time to send back. so if u send cash they will help me as i do each one back so i keep em all straight and get extra stamps if needed. before these last 2 postal increases they used to help me do like 60 trades a mth for plants and seeds, rotfl so they have alot of patients with me,lol.

I sent mine out yesterday! I think I put some neat stuff in there, so I hope whoever gets it enjoys it!

I just sent the seeds and present in a bubble envelope with a pre-addressed label to put over the one that was addressed to Silkie. Make sense?

I think the gift was the hardest part for me! LOL!

How many seeds are people sending? I am a member on another seed trading website, and I just followed their guidelines.

I guess I should have asked this earlier, huh? I think my seeds are more than what you would get in a commercial packet, though. If you could buy them commercially. Some of mine I haven't seen for sale, they were harvested from my own plants. Others are a little more common. I like them, though!

Is a chicken-themed gift the same as an Easter-themed gift?
I found something I think is really cool, but I'm not sure if it's the right thing to send for this swap...

Chickens are Easter-y, so I would think so?? I have a feeling, on this board, people would LOVE anything chicken-y!

The gift is what I had the hardest time with. Either it was too big or not cute enough.

I found something that I think would do, but I hope it goes to someone that has kids! LOL!

Yes, mine is definitely more for an adult. Just wasn't sure it was Easter-ish.

And anything else I've seen I've just not been that happy with. Not for a bubble envelope, anyway. Found a cute wind-up chick, but I can see it being little plastic bits after a tour in a BE.

I made mine in Word, added graphics and such. If you give me your email address I can email it to you. I just made each one different. I put planting instructions on the back side of the envelope.

Now I am feeling insecure about my packages!

LOL! J/K! Those look wonderful Cetawin! I just used my regular small plastic baggies (like for stamps or coins) that I use on another trade board, with the info on the front of them, and then re-wrapped them in a really pretty gift wrap that was covered in roses, and re-wrote the info on the outside of that. I don't have a printer, but I think they are pretty.

I love the personalized seed envelopes like that, though. Those are really nice! Someday I am going to get a printer and learn how to do that!

I can't wait to see what everyone gets!
