Our son and his family live in Iowa City. He just moved there in time for last spring's flood. We need to visit them again this fall, so I may show a display of SL Wyandottes. It's about a 10-11 hour drive, so don't know if the birds will look very good after such a long trip. Hope to see some of you there.

Well, doesn't look like we are going to get to make the show. Some things have come up and we're going to have to give it up for this time. Maybe another time.

Does anyone know if they usually have show quality ducks for sale there too, or is it only Chickens? In particular, we're looking for Rouens.

i've seen loads of ducks for sale. i saw a trio of rouens at the last show. i'd say its worth a shot

Sent my entry. Will be showing a display of SLW bantams. If anyone would like some very nice breeders of this breed, please let me know. I could deliver them to the show.

Well I sent my entry in I have a salmon faverolle cockeral and a buff chantecler cockeral entered. Now I just need to book a hotel, I just can't drive back and forth as it is a 2 1/2 hr drive. I will probably take those 2 out of the flock this week so they can start getting use to being caged and keep their feathers nice, I am not expecting anything. It sounds like fun though and different than a dog show
