Sorry for not replying. I prefer to go by my username or CKN for short. I have an unusual first name and I know my town's been listed on here a couple of times. I just try to practice good cyber safety. It's not like it bothers me when people use my name, I just don't want to do it all the time or have it in my signature line.

I know every active member on here is good people, but this forum is open to EVERYONE. I guess I've just seen on too many other threads where people have lost chickens to the two-legged predators to not be a little cautious.

Just my thoughts.

I said earlier a blue roo...but I got my genetics mixed up, dont know what I was thinking.
I'm at 50% hatch this morning and hope to make 75% or better. Some of the eggs were 8 days old when they hit the bator.
I hope of course for some blue, but as long as I get a splash and a black in there someplace, then I can get the blue to come out on the next generation.

That makes me think: I am working on a new sign. (all of our other signs have been cute or pretty) This one has a 9 mm and says "we don't call 911" on it. Can't take credit for it because I saw one on-line.

Are they like Australian Shepherds? I always wanted one of those until I saw how much energy I would have to give them or they would get into trouble. One of our friends has two, and he says the male plays a game called "let me see how I can get out of the kennel and show up at your door step and freak you out."

He's cute, and I like the name sky.

Smarty pants? Moi?

I have plenty of possums, thank you very much. I get to go to sleep to the sound of a hiss-off between a possum and Whiskers (the cat that won't go away) almost nightly.

I just couldn't resist.

I agree, but my name is already out there on cyberspace for chicken related things... I just take my name off spokeo.com and I'm not in the book and if someone asks where I live, I'm vague.

But I understand what you are saying... can't trust anyone anymore.
