AWW!!!!!!!! SO adorable!!!
I'm not Rodney, but will I do.https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/cattle-panel-hoop-coop
Rodney, I'm thinking of building this as my next coop project... What would be your recommendations for the winter time as far as keeping them warm?
I just got done with all mine... I got mine on ebay. There are many listings for them and they are all the same product. Personally, I chose to buy from a American who ships REALLY fast, but I paid a bit more. So what? I got them in two days. If you buy them as imports it can take a couple weeks to get them. Whatever you feel is more important, saving money or saving time. So, without me going back a ton of pages, what is the best place to buy chicken nipples for the waterers? From everyones experience, what type of system works best?
Times 2.... I tarp up my dog kennel coops in the winter. Looks like Haiti after a hurricane, but it works. Never lost one to cold.I'm not Rodney, but will I do.
I know he will say that the do not need to be warm just out of any breeze or wind.
Easiest thing I can think of would be just finish covering the ends with tarps.
A really cheap place to get tarps is tarps.com.
They offer many different thicknesses so you can choose the size and thickness you want.
HEHE! Yeah, I guess I shouldn't have said keep them warm, they have feathers for that! So plastic on top that stays there, plastic on the front and back and tarp on top to cover the whole top through winter and take off during summer?I'm not Rodney, but will I do.

Yes, entomb it in plastic and uncover for spring and summer and fall... but remember the rain.HEHE! Yeah, I guess I shouldn't have said keep them warm, they have feathers for that! Yeah, that's why I was thinking of using plastic around the top part and making sure it'd keep them dry for the most part... and yes, make sure the wind can't get to them in winterYes, entomb it in plastic and uncover for spring and summer and fall... but remember the rain.
