nyone hitting the Greene Co fair this week? My dad is working tonight and Friday with the Master Gardeners Club. If this storm gets over and done with soon enough we'll be going tonight since it's cooled off a lot.

looking to rehome my couple of cockatiels. not asking any money unless you want to, as these are rescues, not mean, but shy at first maybe. they can come with the what would be considered big cage for a single tiel, or have cage eight times the size of any large tiel cage seen, for a hundred, when they go for over three hundred in stores etc. though the female cant fly, and male might need wings clipped again if you dont want to free fly him inside (i find it pretty to watch them fly when had others that did), to stop from flying out side (he also tried to sneak out right behind my feet on foot once or twice, but doubt he would try to escape now that taken up with his gf, as when out now, just hang out on outside of cage and chew on other bird's stuff from outside of theyre cages. lol and i leave my doors oen constantly without busted screens on. the female whistles and talks some, but male for some reason has learned before i got him (think he was wild for while before possibly shot in eye which is ok now, and captured in factory), every wild bird song i can think of, but also makes every machine shop sound to.. he talks and whistles now to some. petri and Pepe, come and answer to their names, and be quiet when told to with their names (poor poor petri is the girl, named after the land before time dino, that tried but couldnt fly and would just crash). theyre pied tiels, and friendly as long as you dont put a nest box in by them, as then pepe acts defensive to scare you off till gets idea you arnt scared or tap him on the head with a chopstick.. lol). petri loves cheerios, and best way to make a quick friends. I just dont want to put petri especially on craigs list as had her for over year, when was still pretty young, and pepe has come out of shell along way also with her now I had to quarantine him for a while though, as was sick in winter, and wanted to just be sure nothing transferable to my petri, as well as just be sure she wouldnt be attacked by him also, as every other bird seems to have it in for her even all other males, except pepe).. so there is my crazy pet rant add, but figured here was best place to find someone/s for them together in good home, as didnt want to just give to craigs people seeming to look for just neglect able breeders (petri is sensitive), or want to keep one only, while gone all the time (mirrors make birds neurotic and aggressive sometimes as only interactions most of time).

also have two just pet lovebirds would like to try to get a hundred for, one fifty with cage setup, maybe.. but negotiable. they are african peach faced love birds, one moer over green with other colors, and one lutistic. they will have to be watched as will nest if let to, and will be over run with eggs, then they get slightly defensive, but non of birde of mine ever bitten me hard when nesting, so you could have nests if wanted also, though petri only layed three eggs, as wasnt expecting her to lay in her hide (that should learn me).

male and or female guinea piggles (the female friendly to point of an attention whore), to good loving homes. female is either late with pigglets, or just rotund from to many treats (though she chirps to me, when calling her my little fatty mc fat fat).

one female dutch bunny, slightly wiggly when first pick up, and likes to dance around you more than being held, though sits in lap and only really goes in corner of cage. doesnt bite, doesnt scratch or kick anymore. nice pattern. ten dollars, just she is not eaten. lol though looks tasty to me as well! just waiting on friend to get back in town to see if he is still interested in it.

two OEG hens, one OEGB roo. one female blue bar homer (though parents were pure black, so not sure how that happened), as now with the other female leading the two tumblers astray, i have an extra female, to either give away, or find mate for, so they dont all fight from odd number.

PM me if interested, as always looking for places lately, so not on much here.

As always, I will post here first... you all are good chicken people.

I will be selling out of ALOT of birds, some will be show/breeding quality and some are farm/hatchery quality.

12+ Delawares (most POL some laying already) - all breeder stock
1 XW line BR roo (if you don't know, check out kathyinMO's closed auction) - highest quality birds I own
Two pairs of OEGB (silver duckwing) - hatchery
1 BB red OEGB roo - hatchery
Pair of bantam white wyandottes - breeders
Whole flock (8, two are roos) of bantam crosses I call "cracker jacks" - my creation
Australorps - breeder/show lines
Barred Rock chicks (utility line, not XW) - hatchery line that I have been breeding and culling
Standard Barnevelder boys (both imported Dutch stock) - imported
I'm torn on my Sebrights... - high quality show
I'm also torn on my "tater tot" project birds - I created

That would put me down to working with three or 4 breeds and having about 20-30 that would be pets. Cutting back! Interested, email or PM me.
