lol. on a different note: (Stacy) How about 75.00 for an unsexed day old chick? Now that is really getting up there. Blue Isbar from Greenfire. I think they are going to end up sexing them out at 90 for a pullet and 40 for a roo (day olds)

I thought the Flower hens were spendy, whew!

I could not imagine giving that much for single chicks...unless they grow up to lay golden eggs!

Bario.....don't worry..you are not the only one coming to a screeching stop when you see something interesting to work with. It is a good thing I don't drive a truck all the time...though I have put the size of my car trunk to the test of how much and how big an item it will hold. DH doesn't roll his eyes but he does look at me and ask "Are you SURE you really need it."

They are pedigreed Mini Lops, and she did a good job with the nest, she started before I fed yesterday morning and waited til 12-1am to have them. I went out to check on them and they weren't covered as well as I would have felt comfortable, so grabbed some of the fur and stuff all around her cage and put that on top of them.

I checked on them this morning, I have 8 for sure and 3 are REW's and 5 are Agouti's (dark bodies, with pink bellies).
