Well, I'll be seeing if we could make it the first... I have to check before I commit. I don't want to miss any dancing... lol!

Give me 24 hours to get day sleepers to say yes or no.... ;)

Ok, so I'm not very impressed with my BLRWs... So, I'm offering a trio for $40, the results were 50% rose comb, 50% straight comb. I think both the rooster and splash hen came from hatcheries, and the blue hen came from Foley line. I'd be willing to do a trade on 3 laying hens and maybe a rooster of same breed, since that's probably what I'll be looking for after I sale these. They're very stand-offish, not mean but prefer to live their lives among each other. The rooster isn't mean, but doesn't like being grabbed out of a cage (learned that after I quarentined him!). They'd be best suited for free-ranging in small fenced yard, or kept up, the blue hen is really dumb and wanders off by herself. They're really pretty and have some nice lace to them! I'm sad to get rid of them, but I think I'm learning the same lesson I did on raising Harlequins, with patterned offspring culling heavily is necessary, and I just don't want to do it now. I don't have enough hens and big enough bator to do heavily culled hatches, because then it's going to be more expensive. Message me if interested.

Anyone else notice the little hen who popped her head up in Stang's pic so she wouldn't be left out.

I have seen a lot of pics here on the forum and wonder how in the world do you get your chickens to stand "away" from you? When I take pics I end up with a big beak and eyes. Something about a camera draws them to it.

Haha! You're lucky then. I usually get butts. I have albums and albums of hind ends.

I'm puzzled. I put a golf ball in the middle nesting box in the bantam coop. When I went to gather eggs tonight it was in the LEFT nesting box. How did they do that?!?!? There's not bird in that coop that weighs more than a golf ball, soaking wet.

I tell people that my Wyandottes the snobs of the yard. It's like they know they're gorgeous and don't feel like they have to lower themselves to grovel for food or attention like those OTHER birds...

someone say Bairo and Dancing in the same sentence
