Wish I could have got to say hi to everyone today, I now know to bring something for a headache when clerking, luckily for me mom thought ahead. We had a great time and I actually didnt come home with any extra birds but cant say the same for my family lol it seems we managed to get a oe roo who is pretty cute and this one actually doesnt bite.

It was so good to see everyone though I did not get to meet some new members while I was gone to my sons graduation.
This show was one for the books....really highs and really lows! I am still trying to figure out how a raccoon got into my hen house killing 5 of my younger chicks. There is a small window that rolls out but I don't have a clue how it got to it and squeezed through. I raised a pet raccoon and though they can be pretty inventive..this still stumps me.

Bario and I thoroughly enjoyed putting the cover up during the storm. So glad I thought to bring it. Bario...you are just so good a person. Very few men would have let themselves get drowned helping someone put a cover up. Many, many thanks for taking care of my chickens and you are well Daphne. I am indebted to the two of you greatly. My day could have never worked without you. Hopefully I can find a way to repay your kindness.

I was so excited that my silkie roo took 2nd in BV and BB!! As a result he has grown a bit arrogant. My snuggle buddy snapped at me twice for touching him and keeps pecking my feet. Either that or he is letting me know he did not appreciated being toted around..sitting around all the squawking chickens and then again toted home. Either way..he does have a little smugness to his strut.

Thankfully the day did end on a very nice sunny afternoon.

@Daphne...I think I have your umbrella. Will try to find a way to get it to you.

Everyone have a wonderful Sunday!

Great to see everyone again...just sorry so many had to leave early. Glad to have met stangs husband and all the other new folks.

3 Lessons learned this AM: cotton drop cloths are not waterproof, it seems to take forever to set up a shelter when it is pouring, and the rain always stops when said shelter is finally up

Thanks Daph for watching everything while I ran home to change and the other thing also. Thanks again to Terry for keeping her bator going for me while I mess with other things here. Terry I would not have had it any other way. I have not played in the rain in years, it added some excitement to my life today

I took best of breed and reserve breed with the two Dels. (of course mine were the only ones entered) I'll take it like I can get it, LOL
I did get rid of excess hens I really needed to, but "Sweetie" was one of them

My new buddy, I was worried on the ride home because she was a bit whiny, but now home shes such a sweety. Didn't even bark when hubby knocked on the door. Unfortunately have no food for her. She has fleas, but thankfully still had some advantage to put on her. Hope it helps, poor thing keeps scratching.

Actually I thought you had already talked about having it at Norris.
Don't worry I will take care of the name tags, I will get them printed.
Would like to have "A.K.A.'s to go with our screen names.

Was also good to meet your DH. He seems like a man who enjoys supporting your hobbies.

Was also nice to meet a couple of new members.

Hope to see everyone again soon.

Have a great Sunday.
