This my blue orp roo hatched feb/mar. I was going to try & trade him but I no longer need another roo. Please excuse his bachelor pad but he was getting frisky with the young chicks & had to act fast to move him out. Thanks I edited this post so I would not waste anyone's time.

finally got little miss broody moved over without breaking her.
22 eggs she was trying to cover and still wanting to steal more

I'll go out later and candle them to see how many I can get rid of for her. She was taking shifts....she could cover 18 and so would leave 4 out and then every once in a while she would scoot forward to cover those 4 and leave 4 others out. Now who said chickens aint smart.
 
update to crazy broody cochin.... candled eggs and let her keep 16. One hatched last night and is bright eyed and fluffy. Since she was stealing eggs over two weeks before I seperated her, not sure if she will try to hatch all of them or not. She is giving it a good go though with one down and 15 more to go.
