I set up a mealworm farm last year. I started off with 2 dozen and now I'm at around 500, haven't really counted them. There is a good thread on this site in the feed section called mealworm farming. If you just read the first 15 or so pages you will get all the info you need to start. Biggest consideration for our climate is the humidity, mealworms like it dry.congrats on the light. I hope it works for you. I am currently researching mealworms. I think I may give it a try. Does anyone mealworm farm?

thank you. I have been on that thread. I ordered mine last night so I will be getting set up for them. I guess with our climate they need to stay inside away from the humidity. The way I look at it I am only going to loose a few bucks if it doesn't work.
