eating eggs while treating worms

Stupid question, but I'm a newby...is it ok to eat the eggs if you are treating chickens for worms? Or should you wait until finished treating before eating any eggs?

Depends on what kind of medicine you are using to treat them. For Wazine, at least, it's no-no, as it can cause illness for a couple weeks after the chicken is given the treatment.

Most people follow directions and don't eat the eggs for 2 weeks. I am very lousy at following directions.

I am like the Flock Mistress. I usual only follow directions when all else fails. I have treated my chicks w/ Wazine in the past but still eat the eggs. But I have never had worms.
