Eating fertililized eggs

Soooo... a fertilized egg is meat & an unfertilized egg isn't?
I don't get it.

I have had friends that would eat shrimp, but not fish because fish have eyes that look like "animal" eyes.
Quirky & I don't get it.
I even worked with a gal who liked to say that she did not eat meat, because she didn't eat beef or pork...

I totally respect food choices, but if I cannot comprehend that there is a code or series of rules to govern the choice, then the choice is just a matter of personal quirk.

I don't eat cauliflower. Don't know why.

That's an interesting question. Interesting, because I've never met a vegetarian that wasn't pro-abortion. Not to bring up politics, but if a baby is just a lump of cells until it "hatches," then why be concerned about a chicken egg? No pip = no chick to the pro-abortionist, right?

That's not to say that all vegetarians are pro-abortion, either. That's just what I've found.
