Eating Kitchen Scraps?

Hi helpers, ive recently saved/bought some caged chickens. They are now really happy in their new home and big garden, but they are still mainly eating pellets, any advice on how to get them to eat the kitchen scraps?

Welcome! The pellets are very good for them, and they need time to transition to their new life. Offer small amounts of the goodies, and over time they will figure it out. Mary

try putting a small amount of kitchen scraps in a bowl and sprinkling pellets over the scraps. They'll be drawn to the pellets and find the scraps at the same time

Thanks helpers. It did take them about a week to suss out scraps. Now they love them! Very happy chookies.
