eatting fertilized eggs

A lady told me the other day that her whole extended family will crack each egg in a bowl before cooking....and proceed to scoop out the "baby chicken thingy" with a spoon. Even the store bought eggs.

I'm assuming they mean the small, white portion of the egg. The woman referred to this as the "baby chicken thingy" or the "jizz"!

You'd have to stay up all night long to think some of these things up!

you cant be serious. That is hillarious. Well I guess if it makes her and her family happy, then so be it. We need more happy people in the world.

No laughing, but I used to pick out the white thingies too. I always thought they were embryos, in fact, all the way up until I joined this forum... Sad, especially considering that I was raised in a farming community for half of my life.
