eBay silkie eggs?

Still not as expensive as Hat Trick's. Now I just need my banty cochins to grow up so I have some broodies. Hurry babies!!!

Hopefully she'll still have eggs coming when I'm ready to set some. I NEED silkies, and I want nice ones.

She is only recently started to get significant money for her eggs. A few weeks ago, her similar auctions were only bringing around 25 bucks. It looks like repeat buyers are now driving her auctions. I haven't bought Silkie eggs from her, but I have spoken with people who have. They are raving about the hatches and the quality of the chicks. I have bought Mille Fleur D'uccle eggs from her and had a great hatch, and the chickens that came from the eggs are outstanding!! I thought that my line of Mille's was nice, but after I got some of hers, I wanted to send all of mine to freezer camp, lol (J/K).

I will be buying some of her silkie eggs in the near future.

Hope for your sake she posts some BIN auctions. I have 20 eggs from her in the bator right now, from 3 different BIN's. I paid less than $60 including shipping

ETA: Seeing the price that her auctions go for, I'm glad I snatched these babies up when I did!!

Yes, I'd appreciate a BIN auction too! I love BIN, and not having to wait til the end of the week to see how if I win, and how much I'm going to pay. Regular auctions are exciting, but BIN's are my favorites.

Usually the BIN's are ridiculous compared to how the auction ends. I was doubting how much they were (14.99 for buff and cuckoo, 16.99 for white), but her birds were very nice!! After I got them, I watched her other auctions. Most of them (like the ones I had gotten) went for at least $25 for 6 eggs. I was VERY happy I had decided to get the BIN's!!

I bought my silkie eggs from a different seller on ebay, he lists his 6 at a time. He shipped me 8, which I put under a broody game hen. One turned dark and had to be discarded, one of the six that hatched she stepped on and broke it's neck, and one did not make it out of the shell and perished. I ended up with 5 which is great I think. And if I had watched her closer I probably could have saved the one that peeped but did not hatch.

How do they look? Big fluffy crests, or smaller ones? More like hatchery birds, or more like breeder birds?

I really have not tried to mess with her too much. Just enough to see they are healthy. I have 2 grays 1 black 1 brown and one buff. Hopefully in a few days they will venture out from under her and I can get a good look at them. For a game hen she is normally very sweet, but not right now. She pecks anybody that gets anywhere close and throws a fit. I just make sure she and the chicks have starter mash and water.
