Gumwart let out a yell. And froze solid. Cora gasped. “Oops!” She went up to the statue and poked it.

“Solid. What will we do with it?” Minta wasn’t listening, she was bent over Nina, who was out of the spell. She sat up and blinked. She grinned suddenly. Then she laughed. Cora hook with relief. “What were you thinking Nina? You gave me a heart attack!” Minta agreement. Nina smiled. “I ducked. Crumbled before the spell hit. Come see.” She led them into the hall and low and behold, there was a great big hole in the wall, covered in burns. Rebecca came charging out of a much smaller hole nearby in a rage. “What did he think he was doing.? That evil man!”

Nina grinned at her. “I’ll fix it. it was my fault anyway.” Then she turned to the frozen Gumwart. “Alishika boom!” The statue disappeared. Gone. Never to be seen again. Nina held out the broom that had been left in the hallway to Cora. Cora groaned. Minta giggled. Nina set to work repairing the wall. When she was finished she went down to the kitchen and made a banana, a strawberry and a chocolate milkshake. Cora and Minta joined her and they sat, sipping their drinks. Lily came in and got herself a vanilla smoothie. She sat down with the witches. Cora got up and accidently dropped her glass.

Nina moaned.
