oh, but what about when they are little? a foot off the ground is high at first no? wonder how much voltage they need.

.I'm no expert; I know only what I was told when I sold & built electric fence systems. Your local Ag Extension Agent or hog farmer, either one, would be able to give you a better answer than I ever could. I've never kept swine; don't want them anywhere near me.
Im not ready for one yet, but will keep that in mind!!
