Well it was an instant thought that’s for sure. But it was more like she’s going to get the last laugh as I scolded you for not wearing gloves. Took me awhile to post this as you can see.

I was right AND wrong. It's Acurite, but it shows 24 hr. highs AND lows for temp AND RH.

Google Acurite thermometer/hygrometer; that should get you to their web site, I'd think

Ow ow ow I certainly won’t do that again. I’m just glad it didn’t go farther under fingernail. And to add insult to injury the dumb little rooster was pecking me on the way to the coop.

Long night tonight. Moved the bc.marans out to the brooder in the barn. I have a wonderful little barnyard mix broody sitting on a batch of custom EEs we're breeding. The birchen maran incubator was reading 104, lost half for sure, we will have to see how many hatch. Day 21 tomorrow for this hatch. I already have some EEs popping out, hopefully everything else follows suite! Ducklings are mostly doing well, except I've noticed the little one isn't walking so well. He mostly scoots around unless he gets really spooked, than he'll run. Not sure what's up with that fellow!

Insult to injury. Those little ones can be little pains in the...ankle. lol. Our main man recently started attacking the kiddos. Not super aggressively, but more than I'm comfortable with.

Mine too but with me. Couple good kicks and things are better. However in the 3 years I’ve had him he was never a problem. I certainly watch him now.
