Yes, I am beeing older and them beeing dumber......

When I went through school we weren't even allowed to use calculators. Now homework, in some cases, requires use of the internet. Amazing!

Not in my world!
I NEVER give homworke but I do make a lot of pop quizs and big exams ! They HAVE to use their brains and logic to succeed in my class!

Good for you! It's no wonder America's educational system has been sliding southward in the world rankings for so many generations.

nephew is required to have an internet connection and device to receive assignments. Poor kids have to go to the public library and use the pc's for that reason.

To my way of thinking, that's discriminatory. There are families all over that are strapped just putting food on the table & clothes on their backs, let alone buy electronics for the kids so the teachers don't have to teach .
