Okay. So all my “girls” are 12 weeks old now and I think we don’t have a roo. The biggest girl who’s definitely top of the order has been my main concern but at this point, her comb isn’t redder than any of the other ones and they all seem to be rocking similar feather patters. I don’t have great pics, but let me know what you think.
*note, my biggest girl recently plucked out her longest tail feathers for some reason, I found them in the coop. She doesn’t seem to have mites or anything. So not sure what the deal is with that.
All three of the ones I might have considered possible Roos

This is a profile of the one who plucked out some of her tail feathers if anyone has any tips on that.

Yep, all girls!

Man, they're beautiful, too!
Yay! And thank you! I was pleasantly surprised with what I got when I picked out four “yellow” chicks. Now I’m just waiting to see how the not quite splash white one settles into her adult colors lol.

Your black beauty looks almost identical to my Bluebell...awww 🥰View attachment 3516269
Look at her! I love how the black chickens get that green shine. My black one (Betty) is the loner not EE, she’s a black australorp so she’s probably gonna end up the biggest girl and actually have a waddle. But right now she’s pretending she’s an EE with her sisters till she start to get her red comb lol.
