Mrs. Fluffy Puffy - So sorry for your loss. My EE's are my favorites. I lost one to heat this summer. So sad!

I love this thread!! Okay friends, my father-in-law keeps teasing me that my fave girl "Besty" is actually a roo. Here's some pics from recently. What do ya'll think??? Puhlease say pullet!! She's 20 weeks old.

Maybe I can be proven wrong, because yes at 20 weeks one can have a comb like that, but not quite so big - And the tail feathers are just too green looking, plus the tail base seems to have a lot of curve to it, and the neck feathers are pretty "broken" from the body, which implies young hackle feathers coming in. Pretty sure it's just a gawky looking teenage boy.

More photos can help though.

Oh man, he is NEVER going to let me live this one down. he's one of those "always right" people..found another picture. I was admiring how super shiny she is compared to everyone else. if she is a he I'm gonna be bummed, my Betsy actually comes to me when called and just waits to be picked up. No crowing yet though. when does that start?
