I deliberately selected my 4 very different looking EE chicks in order to hopefully get 4 very different looking EE hens... mostly for the sake of variety.

And with that in mind, I am going to track their development every week (by updating this post with new pics)




#1: The blueish grey one. A little darker on top and pale on the belly. "She" has a little bit of orangey brown on her forehead and a prominent nostril area...and what look like blue legs.

#2 & #3: The one on the left is kind of buff colored, with subtle patches of grey on "her" back and back of head. The one on the right has the chipmunk stripe pattern and lots of extra spots and stripes on the forehead.

#4: The brown one that has minimal markings. "She" is a darker more cinnamon brown on the head and back, and a lighter brown everywhere else. "Her" legs appear to be blue also.

I have 19 Easter eggers they are about 3 months now herescsome pics from chicks to the last one was about a week ago I have 2 clean faced out of them all they are super twins same colors same size can only tell them apart by the crest love to spend time with each other I think they were hatched from the same egg... at least tgatscwhat I'd like to imagine I have pics of them somewhere....

This might be a long post with many pics, but here it goes!

This chick I ended up getting I think around March/April time. I thought about names for her but nothing really stuck. I'll nickname her Comet for now. Beginning from when she was a chick and as she grew.

And honestly I have so many pics of her. She is one of my favorite colors. She hasn't started laying yet, and she still has a bit more room to grow.

Very large, active, alert, masculine, and confident. Loves to jump on my shoulder. I actually call her my buddy. Hoping She is not really a He!

Update: Destiny is 16 weeks old now! In the middle of a molt and slow to mature. Her breast is turning a pretty light salmon color! Any eggs
from her before 24 weeks would be a complete shock.
