So what are you gonna replace them with? I am glad I have your EE eggs and also BTW they all have babies doing some dance moves in them!

Kirby...the one I kept is the sweetest EE from your eggs!!! I keep going into the garage to see my babies and Kirby flies up to the top of the coop so she can fly to my sholder and hang out! It is hard not to fall in love with her.

I am glad at least I have some great grandbabies from your flock! LOL!

You guys are all so sweet and thank you for your comments.

chickenlisa - I got your PM and appreciate your interest, but I think I should make my comment here for all to see because I didn't think to post this originally and really feel I should have.

I don't think Oreo would do good in a home where there is another roo. He is aggressive towards other male fowl here and I'm not sure how he would do elsewhere in that same situation so I think it is best to try to find him a home where he'd have his own coop with his own ladies.

OH bummer- I was already getting attached to him thru the photos! Agh! I may be adding another pen soon-but you sure he wouldn't do ok-what about in a duck pen with other big and small ducks and then some EE hens?

Awww, Lisa. I would really love for it to work out, but I am being totally honest. Oreo chases my wild eastern turkey all over our field. And when the turkey gets tired of it and decides to fight back, Oreo will not back down. He would rather die than give in and we have broken up several fights between those two. He is entirely tolerant of people and children and will greet you with the girls for treats like a perfect gentleman, but does not like male fowl at all. I really want to do what is best for him and for his new home.

Raven and Sassy have been rehomed today. Thank you so much Liz for providing them a great home. It was great meeting you and I hope the trip home went well.

We still need a home for Oreo and 4 ladies (Amelia, Slate, Cheyenne & Cocoa). Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks.

Jody

Jody do the 4 girls have to go with Oreo? And do you know what color eggs those 4 lay?
Thanks!

I would prefer that Oreo go with at least 1 hen, so he is familiar with someone for a transition. He doesn't have to go with all of them.

Amelia lays a green speckled egg and I believe Cocoa lays a brown eggs with speckles. I do not know what color Cheyenne and Amelia lay.
