EE or Americana?!!??!?!

This is my 11 month old chicken who is SUPPOSEDLY a brown-red Americana. ( I think that she layed a brown egg today that is why I'm asking LOL) MAKE SURE TO VOTE!

If an Easter Egger lays a brown egg one day can they lay a green egg the next day or do they just lay one color?

Hens will only lay one egg color in their life.

They will only lay one color egg. Green or blue eggs are not a guarantee for EEs. They may carry the gene for a green or blue egg but since they are a mix, brown is possible too. Pretty bird!

Pretty sure she’s an Easter egger. Amerucaunas have poofy beards or feathers coming out the sides of their faces. They also lay green or blue eggs.

LOL I had written a previous post about how she all of a sudden lost like all of her beard and muffs. What I'm saying is that she had a HUGE LIKE HUGE beard and muffs.

Looks like a mix breed with possibly some Maran mixed in some where.
