Between 7-10 days is when I candled my shipped eggs.

Sorry for interrupting bit speaking of eggs I will have chicks soon, she's not allowed to hatch now but maybe in the spring, hopefully she goes broody again in a few months!

She's very beautiful!! What breed is she?
I've been wanting to get some Svart Honas but I've got 2 flocks now and a lot going on with my Marans. So may just settle for a couple fibro EE's for my Olive Egger hatches.

She's an ayam cemani, I had to break her broodiness as its too cold but will allow her to hatch in february/March.

Our Meyer Hatchery Assorted Hatching Eggs arrived this morning. Going to let them sit until late tonight and then add them to incubator once my kiddos go to sleep. As far as I can tell by using the breed code we have:
2-Barred Rock
2-Black Australorp
2-Black Copper Maran
2-Easter Egger
2-Lavender/Black split to Lavender Orpingtons
4-Olive Egger
4-Rhode Island Red
2-Salmon Faverolles
2-Welsummer
I feel like that’s a lot of pretty decent stuff to start! Incubator has been running since the 18th, holding good temps and humidity. Wish us luck!

Went ahead and candled tonight. I’ve got a busy weekend coming up and was curious so! We have 22 out of 22 with veins. Saw embryos on all the light shell eggs. Even saw veins on the super dark maran eggs and olive Egger eggs. Hopefully all of them keep growing! Go Eggies Go!
