I found a web site that lists poultry vets in GA, the one listed closest to Madison, is in Athens. The UGA College of Veterinary Medicine, Athens. She is still lethargic and sluggish, not attempting to eat anything! I even tried to give her some cucumber ( that is her favorite! ) But she still won't eat anything I did not want her to get dehydrated, so I gave her a syringe full of water. She got that down still wheezing when she breathes. I contacted several vets but they do not take poultry. I am also running low on cash so I am doing the best I can to keep her well. With the help of my friends on BYC as well. Here is a pic of her. My sweet Daisy.

Daisy my Buff Orpington hen 1 year appears to be egg bound she has not been laying eggs for a few days now she seems to be panting, weezing when she breathes and it is not even hot outside! I felt her oviduct and I feel something hard ( like an egg) stuck in there. She shows no interest in eating much and is lethargic. Not walking around much are these signs of an egg bound hen? If so, what should I do?
When you feel her abdomen below the vent between her legs is there any swelling or fluid? She is still lethargic and sluggish, not attempting to eat anything!
