Hi, I just put 12 coturnix eggs in my incubator for the first time. I just wondered if there's a correlation between the egg color and the quail color. 11 eggs are spotted, some more then others with dark or light beige background. One egg is cream with dark beige on the pointy end. The lady that sold me the eggs has 6 common color quails, one brown and one blonde. Maybe there's no correlation at all? I'm also wondering what a tuxedo quail egg looks like. Not much info with pics on the net.
