egg has started zipping but hasnt made progress in hours

If the incubator is steamed up, your humidity is too high. I would keep it down, if you can! I hatch mine at 45-50%

i might try to wipe the side down very quickly and remove the towels

while i did that i checked if that egg was alive and moving but had become weaker in movements, but the membrane looks okay

it pipped yesterday and would react to tapping on the side of the bator now it only reacted when i tapped its shell.
this egg was peeping and moving lots yesterday and a little this morning but has just stopped unless directly tapped but it might be resting before zipping?

at least 12 hours, around 10am yesterday

its 9:50 am here and the chick moved its beak a little when i tapped the side again, it seems to be the only one pipped right now
