I can't eat duck eggs or gluten so I'm always making baked goods with duck eggs for my husband and kids so I can't cheat on my diet. It's much easier to resist cake when eating it will cover me in hives and have me vomiting for the day

Sometimes it’s what’s being fed to the ducks. Look at the bags of food see if there is a different ingredient that might be on a no go list.
I can’t eat store bought eggs the burn my mouth and make me ill. But the eggs that are eatable to me.

This is interesting. Do you have any suggestions as to what to look for on chicken feeds? I've never heard this approach on the subject before.

I've heard soy can be an issue.
But, in my instance, my ducks eat what my chickens do and I only have an issue with the duck eggs.

did you think of quail eggs?
you can generally get them at the grocery store.

I remember reading something from someone who had issues with eggs when their birds ate food with more fish meal over other types of protein.

My wife has a friend that can’t have chicken eggs but can eat duck eggs just fine and we sell her a couple dozen every so often
