X2. Best of luck with her tomorrow and be sure to let us know how it goes with the avian vet. We're all pulling for her AND you. Try to get some rest tonight and know that you're now on the right track. Dark and quiet are her best friend.

Everyone has tried to help you by giving helpful advice for your bird. If you really want to save your bird then just take her to the vet.

She is. She is taking her in the morning. It doesn't mean she isn't interested in trying to see if she has any alternatives. Not to be rude but I think she already knows that you think she should either cull her or take her to the vet. I don't think repeating it is helping any.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! i know no one intended any harm, but a few post made me feel like i didnt do what i was supposed to do and it was my fault. made me feel really bad. i kept her in the dark except for the times i said and maybe a few times in between, i had no idea that light triggered the egg cycle no idea. no one said that. like that. right now i am trying not to let even a crack of light come through. if i didnt care about following the advice i would put her outside and be done with it. but i had her in my bathroom, cleaning up poop and all the other stuff in my floor and on my tub. i LOVE rosey she isnt just a chicken to me she is my friend. she is in my bathroom now. that is what i was trying to avoid was culling, i wouldnt even call it that. culling sounds so cold. if it comes to that i would probably take her and let the vet do it. hopefully tomorrow will be a brighter day.
