Egg laying at night?

Does anyone have a hen who has laid eggs during the night?

I've got a hen that every now and then (maybe every 2-3 dozen eggs) lays one at night, and whe she does so, it's always smack in the middle of the floor. The rest of her eggs are always in the nest box.

I found one on the floor, right under the roosts, this morning at 6am. It was cooled off, so I assumed it was laid in the night.

Mine has been for the last 5 nights! I don't know what's up.

I guess that's when she feels like laying.
