No advice just sympathy...My EE has also not missed a day, but out of 7 regular layers, 2 that should start any time now, and 4 'babies' we get 2 eggs a day if we are lucky...and one hen (who was broody for 2 months!) has taken to laying her egg in the babies quarters. I have done everything I can think of to keep them cool and comfortable...lots of water available, lots of shade, watermelon and other cool treats...no luck. It is just too darn hot, I think. I wouldn't want to lay an egg either! But, we went from more eggs than we knew what to do with to barely enough to eat
