Egg stuck in membrane outside vent. Help!

Look carefully to see if there is an opening where you can massage the egg from. Is that possibly the opening around 7 o’clock in the picture.

My husband wants to massage it and try to find an opening. Just worried the egg will break

If the egg breaks, then we'll worry about that then. Eggs are strong when they're intact. I believe it's vital to get the egg out and prolapse fixed asap

Hey all. We got the egg out. It took a whole lot of massaging, oiling and patience but she looks a lot better. You have all been wonderful. Thanks so much for taking the time on a Friday night to lend your thoughts and support. Love you all.

Yes we did!!! Thanks for your timely video. It was instructive and after much massaging, we got it out. She's resting now in the house with us and seems okay.

You were a great help!!!! Thanks again. I was so upset that our local vets seemed to not care because it was a chicken. I called at least 7 or 8 vets and only the last one was even willing to listen to what was going on. You were all way more helpful!
