Egg too small, duckling pipped, struggling to breathe, no noise, day 28 - pic attached

Ok. Thanks. I'll gear up. I found a better picture and was able to zoom in. I still see lots of red veins on top of the yellowish stuff. Lol. Sorry. I really have no idea what some of that is in there
I would wait a little longer but they have gone down a lot since last night
They never clear 100% but they start to look spotty
Like if there was air in an IV little blood then blank then a little
Also kinda pink not bright red
Hard to explain that’s the best way I can think of lol

See on the right side his feathers look stuck to the membrane
Can you take a dry Q tip and gently turn it on the inside of the membrane. This will take that sticky goo so he doesn’t get stuck to the membrane
I can’t tell if the lower vein is still thick looking or if it’s the membrane bunched up
Just go slow and easy :).
You have been doing great with patients and keeping his membrane moist

I'll definitely do that. I'll also take an updated picture afterward. Should be able to get a decent shot of the dark areas once he's outside the box. I have my bathroom heating and streaming up. There's a ceiling fan with a heater in the light fixture so it'll be the best spot. I can match the hatch box. I've just got to find some shorts and a tank top. It's winter here so my summer gear is not out yet. This cold weather girl is gonna melt! Hahaha

Are you in USA or Canada ?
I also used the bathroom for getting it warm and humid while working on the babies. I never had one shrink wrap on me and I was in the bator a lot with each assist.

USA. New England. We're almost out of it 😁

I took just a little more shell and I think I got some goo.

I'm going to add a few pictures. One has q-tips. Is the brown glue stuff what you mean by goo?

I forgot to add that there was no bleeding 😁. I was very nervous I would make him bleed
It’s like string sticky mucus stuff
Looks like it on the q tip
I still see some thicker veins but a lot has gone down
He looks good
It’s very scary to do this but rewarding when you have a beautiful baby you save
Check those thicker veins in a few hours and see how they are going down
Baby is looking good
Soon you will have a sweet duckling :)
