egg turner motor

Would be multistage. If you have 110 hens laying, 80% give you an egg per day that is 88 eggs per day. You would need incubator space for 18 days worth of eggs and hatcher space for 3 days worth of eggs. So if you set every egg that is laid that is 1980 eggs in your incubator and 264 in your hatcher. $1.90 straight run RIR with 80% hatch rate would be $133 a day - a work at home job. Multiply that by 6 breeds and I'm making more than my engineering job 8). If the economy goes completely flat, I have months of food, a source of income, and I don't have to travel to work!

I'm growing some corn and soybeans this year also

There are hundreds of broiler houses around my area which do 40,000+ every 50 days.

Have you by any chance been reading Elmer Rice's National Standard Squab Book? LOL

No I haven't, just university papers of hatch rates, proper hen/rooster ratio per breed, average fertility %, normal loss, approx daily feed per animal etc.

Why did I miss something? I am new to this 8) I was an engineering consultant for the power industry so its just my nature to find the best way to do things, how to make money at those things, and to network with people who have more experience than I (since i'm only 25) and seek their advice.

Try to use a rotary damper actuator for ventilation systems,,, Belimo, Siemens,, Honeywell all have them,, thy need to be whit out spring return,,,, thy have huge turning force,, and run slow,,

you can also use a Linear actuator same like for closing gates and elevating hospital beds,,,

also BOSCH have a new slow mowing motor that can eazy turn 2000 eggs the name is

D.C. motors with transmission
VMC | 24 V 0.22 W

Part number 0 132 801 141
Nominal voltage 5 24 V
Nominal power p 0,22 W
Nominal current Á ) 55 mA
Maximum current  250 mA
Nominal speed á 6 minÉ
Nominal torque À 40 Ncm
Breakaway torque à ( 140 Ncm
Reduction i 405 : 1
Direction of rotation L/R
max. axial â ) 30 N
max. radial Ä ) 50 N

Weight approx. 0,12 kg

as a timer you can use a small hovabator turner motor with roller switch to control any other motor , it has perfect timing

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR GOOD EDUCATING MATERIAL YOU ARE PRESENTING TRYING TO CREATING JOB
TO US.
MORE SO I WOULD LIKE TO ASK YOU A QUESTION

WHERE CAN IGET 220-240VOLTS MOTOR TIMER?
HOW CAN YOU CALCULATE MOTOR WEIGHT ?
CAN A HORSE POWER BE AFACTOR IN MOTOR WEIGHT CONSIDERATION?
IF SO 1 HP IS EQUAL TO HOW MANY KG?

quite by accident I hit on a good source for a strong 110V motor.. It came out of a lift chair..

I also toyed with a garage door opener motor..

just saying..

............jiminwisc.......

So has anyone tried one of those low RPM motors you can get for $10 on Ebay? I have a GQF incubator and it is awesome but I would like to build my own GQF style incubator. I was thinking a 1 RPH motor would work if i could find a wyt to couple it to the trays. Anyone tried this with " great success"?
