egg yolks

I am new to this forum and have been raising chickens for almost a year. I have noticed in the last couple of weeks that the yolk is a pale yellow instead of a bright color. Is there something that I should be doing to make the yolk richer.

You can feed them greens. Dandelion leaves, spinach and such....

Are you feeding layer feed? Greens, vegetables and alfalfa will all provide pigment for the yolks.
