EGGBOUND OR BROODY GOOSE?

My duck made an external pip Early Sunday (maybe even before daylight) and we still have only gone about a half a thumb's length in opening. Its a Pekin/Mallard cross. I THINK we are ok but just in case...when (timewise) do I go in for an assist? If I do, I was thinking only move a bit more and stop and not do alot more than that. The humidity is 65 to 70.[/QUOTE]

that is weird, I don't know why it put my comment in blue ????
Easy enough to fix, just go back and edit it. Remove "[ QUOTE="casportpony", post: whatever, member: whatever"][ /QUOTE ]

@Pyxis, @WVduckchick ?

no it really had made no progress. I put a wet rag in the incubator that I had heated up in an incubator and peeled some in each directions quickly and then dabbed coconut oil on the membrane. I did it fast before humidity dropped. Hoping that gives him the boost to keep going.
