I just contacted someone about getting half a dozen Polish eggs. Smack my hands!! But I HAD to....its one of the breeds I have been wanting.
Heard some more peeping from the incubator but cant see anything pipped with the flashlight.

Well, not a complete loss after all. Yet.....I have had one baby silkie/sizzle hatch. Maybe her peeping will wake someone else up.

It IS only the 21st day.

LOL, I know, right? I usually do but for some reason this hatch is just making me insane.

Still just the one, but I thought I saw one of the other eggs rocking.

My other button quail eggs from Paganbird got here today!!!!

30 eggs...whoohoo!! I am going to be so paranoid about these after this last incubating mishap.
They all got here safe despite the HOLE punched in the middle of the box, right over where it said "fragile, hatching eggs". Unbelievable but no wait, maybe VERY believable.

Going to be switching around brooders so I can put the lone chick in quickly. Then I will just mist more hot water and see if any other chicks make an appearance.
I already quit turning on the second set of mixed eggs in another incubator(from chickenlittle32) so I am still hoping this little one gets some buddies.

at least they didn't end up in Alaska. One of my shipments went to Alaska. It was supposed to go to Oregon. The label was electronically printed, so it wasn't hard to read & it even had a barcode. They got to Oregon a week after they went to Alaska. Needless to say, not the best hatch. Makes me feel bad for the person waiting for eggs, when the USPS does things like that. They wouldn't refund my priority shipping, either.
