Eggs are here :)Paganbirds and MagsC's hatching thread!!UpdateMarch16!

I will do that! She will be going in with the little silkie/sizzle (who I am starting to think is full silkie because it doesnt look like it has any sizzle....) this evening, barring any more pips showing up. Who knows, with the baby as a cheerleader maybe someone else will hatch??

I quick slid the baby out, send a pic of the baby but havent of the egg shell yet? I will though. It isnt the best pic of the baby because I have to take it with my cell phone. It just gives you more of an idea of color. The other little chick is partially in the pic too.
At first the other little chick pecked this one a bit but now they are buddies and cuddling. I am so happy they dont have to be alone.

I just got home!
I had 4 SF chicks waiting for me in the hatching tray. The last egg had pipped internally, but never pipped the shell. The other 4 had knocked it down & it rolled all over... don't know if that had anything to do with it.
4/5 isn't bad, though. I'm Excited!
4 perfect little salmon faverolles - all with 10 toes and fluffy little faces!
I just set all 13 of the mille fleur cochin eggs into lockdown. That is awesome... sent 13 eggs from California to Pa. All arrive intact, all develop, and ALL have movement at lockdown!!!

I candled all my own bantam eggs (due 3/5) and they all have movement, too.
The mixed lot from chickenzoo are doing well, too. There were 3 clear, I think. The rest are developing. One of the clears was one of my 3 BLRW.

But I have 2 SF from chickenzoo that have movement.
The other 2 BLRW are doing well, & the red polish looks like it is ready to hatch now!
I love mixed sets... they're so fun!
I still don't know what the "I" egg is... but it's developing.

Paganbird, how are the little SFs doing?
My guinea incubator is on lockdown. I havent successfully incubated guinea eggs YET but I am still hoping!

Mags, you MUST learn to post your pics! I can't wait to see your babies! I am getting anxious about mine. I have blood rings in the all the Silkies that I set last week with the Cayugas, and the anxiety is beginning.
I am encouraged to read how things are going with you and Pagan.
