Eggs Are Here!!!

Hello,

I have 46 hens and they are 5.5 months old. As of a week and a half ago I am getting about 6-7 eggs per day. My question is shouldn't they all start laying around the same time?

Are they all the same breed? Is there a light in the coop? Are they all hens

Half are RIR half are Barred Rocks. I have a light.

I'm wondering if it's the time of year......they slowed down big time for me.....my husbands ready to trade them all in for a steak and cheese sub! If they free range than they may not "know" they are supposed to leave eggs in the coop.
"HENDERSON'S CHICKEN CHART" website is good to look up.
This site says your RIR will lay 2/1 over your BR. the BR are light brown and the RIR are medium brown so see if the eggs are all the same shade of brown. They mature roughly the same time according to the chart!!
