Eggs from the supermarket

Yeah, you're probably right. My neighbour turned down my offer of one of my spare cockerels as a permanent coop guest to help protect her free range hens during the day. She said she didn't want to be eating fertile eggs, and I didn't have the heart to tell her that her hens' eggs had been getting fertilised many many times a day ever since the first day she let her hens out to roam. Hahaha!!!

I went to the store and bought a couple of dozen free range carton of eggs and as I had expected the eggs I cracked open were not fertile. I might try a health food store next. Now I have eggs to bake with. Oh boy pumpkin pie... yum yum

I am soooo going to try this!! Why not, right? And as for the fertilized eggs putting people off... You got that right! My hubby feels the need to tell people, 'ya know, they are FERTILIZED eggs, ok?' and it does exactly that. Lol
