sadly only 7 hatched.... the rest were all dead :_(That is good news and hopefully there will be some more to come.![]()

yeah i did the eggtopsy, all the chicks had internally pipped,,, but were lifeless,,,Were these eggs from your own flock or shipped?
There are multiple reasons for eggs not to hatch, so the "cold spell" does not necessarily have to be the cause.

They might have drowned due to excessive albumen. This happens when the parent stock was fed too much protein or the temperatures in the incubator were too low over a long period of incubation.yeah i did the eggtopsy, all the chicks had internally pipped,,, but were lifeless,,,
i went myself and brought the eggs from a nearby farmer
