The last week or so i have had several eggs that were cracked when i collected them. It has been chilly here (22-32 during the day) is this normal for them to crack? I have a heat lamp in the coop to help keep the water from freezing so it's not overly cold in there.

When the eggs freeze they can crack as they thaw.

If you want you can remove them from the shell and follow instructions for freezing egg contents (in other words get them into your freezer for safekeeping since the shells are cracking:

It helps to collect eggs frequently in freezing weather or keep the coop slightly over freezing.
