Woohoo 2 eggs in 1 day, gooo chickies!!

The one on the left is our second egg in a row from a RSL that we have only had 1 week and the 1 on the right is our very first egg from our 5 month old Exchequer Leghorn! She has a little perfecting to do on size and shape, but nice shell and color!

    Thanks for looking [IMG]

Quote:Congrats. Today, we got 2 eggs in one day too! It was a first for us. We have one that has been laying all week and finally her "litter"-mate has joined in the fun. I knew she was getting close as she was checking out the box in the morning.

I have a Buff Cochin that was checking out the nesting boxes the other day. I was sure she would start laying first, but nope, my Exchequer beat her to it! Maybe I will get 3 eggs in one day one of these days lol.

Congrats on your 2 eggs today too, Mrs. Foghorn Leghorn!
