**Electric skillet method-*Open for further questions-starting page 26

I would like to try hatching in an electric skillet too. Do you think this would work for the thermometer and hygrometer?

Still nothing to report on the skillet hatch.

When do you think I should candle and see if any may be alive? Tomorrow? Tuesday?

As for the Bower bator, it is noisy. Does anyone have experience with them. Are they normally so noisy? Even my DH who is hard of hearing is wondering! I put the eggs in at noon (central time) and I can't tell if it is turning them or not yet. I did see it move when we were getting it adjusted last night but, haven't since. Of course, I have been to busy to stand and watch it either. Probably a good thing considering the skillet sits right next to it!

I may be counting wrong, but isn't this day 23?

I think they went in early in the morning on Friday April 18th. That was early enough in the morning that that was probably Day 1.

That would make this past Friday day 21? And today Day 23?

Don't hit me.....
And I'm not angling for a candling....
