Get a book of projects an let him mark the stuff he likes an go buy the stuff on the parts list.

I like the book o projects idea but that'd sorta ruin the surprise... eh maybe the book and a gift card to Radio Shack, Frys, etc??

Go ask someone next door to let you order a catalog of projects in there name an to give it to you.. Then say the mailman messed up an you got the other persons mail an toss it on the table. He will flip threw it.... Take note of what he stops on then just say you took it to them. He will not think anything of it but you have ideas.

Hmmm Rebel if I didn't know any better I'd think you were a Mom... you're downright sneaky.

I can do better than that though, just address it to DH's work (family business) and then DH can bring it home because Bawpaw (boss) didn't see any reason for it to be up there. GREAT IDEA!!
