I remember it well, it was an old Italian lady right from "the old country". She would take all the English sparrows we could live trap.

I think I feel comfortable processing one more Ancona...maybe. I feel bad about it, cause so far he's nice.
The two little WH boys, I'm sure are not worth serving? They're also sweet little boys.

I’d wait to butcher him, and see if you get any hits on Craigslist.

It’s such a waste if he’s a nice boy and very unfair for him.

Next time I’d recommend ordering sexed ducklings, so you don’t have an issue like this again.

Certainly so.
I've to date gotten them from people I know. I get a good price, but they're coming hot from the incubator for me so unsexed. I have rotten luck. WH batch was 50/50, previous both boys, Ancona was 3/4 boys...
Gah!

I might go look at some ducks on Wednesday. Should be just old enough to hear quacks or not. (None of my girls are laying, for the added insult.)
